Pictorial report of Marvi, a 200-year-old alley in Tehran

Marvi is one of oldest thoroughfares in Iranian capital of Tehran.

Marvi, considered as one of the oldest thoroughfares, is a 200-year-old alley in the Iranian capital of Tehran.

The alley is one of the historical passages of Nasser Khosrow Street.

The alley is named after the old owner of properties in the area, Mohammad-Hassan Khan Marvi.

In the past, Arab immigrants and Iranians who were living in Iraq had their own businesses in Marvi Alley, thus manifestations of Arab culture are seen in the alley and its vicinity.
